The color and style can be made to match the wearer's hair or skin tone. Power BTE can be used with specially made ear molds to treat mild to severe hearing loss. The range of sizes offers different levels of visibility, as well as different power levels, features, controls, and the amount of battery life. Behind the auditory ear is folded behind the outer ear, with thin, nearly invisible tubes that direct sound into the ear. A semi-custom ear tip or custom ear mold is used to secure the tube into the ear canal. Custom ear molds are available in various options of materials and a range of colors to match each individual.
